Canada : host online education fair 'Destination Canada 2025' for teachers, potentially opening immigration
Canada is opening new doors for educators interested in teaching in French-language environments through the “Destination Canada Education 2025” online fair, taking place from November 20 to 22, 2025.
Organized by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), the event targets primary and secondary teachers (K–12), French as a Second Language instructors, and early childhood educators wishing to work outside Quebec.
The virtual fair will allow francophone and bilingual teachers to connect directly with potential employers — including school boards, daycare centers, early childhood facilities, and language schools — and explore teaching opportunities across Canada.
Participants will also receive information about working conditions, credential recognition, French-language teaching, and early childhood education, as well as insight into Canada’s francophone communities outside Quebec.
Participation is free, but registration is required and spots are limited. Once the online form is submitted, it cannot be modified, and a confirmation will appear on the screen (no email will be sent).
The event serves as an informational and networking platform only; it does not guarantee a job offer or work permit.
